Friends of St Nicholas Blakeney
The Friends of St Nicholas provide invaluable support for our Church and community. If you would like to find out more about how to become a Friend, please get in touch.

What We Do
The Friends of St Nicholas assist the Church with fundraising and community projects to ensure that people from far and wide are able to have an involvement in Church life. With so many wonderful events, concert and services in the Church’s calendar, there is plenty for the Friends to help out with.
Our committee continues to plan events for all to enjoy and to raise funds to support the fabric and work of the church; much of which sometimes goes on ‘under the radar’. Examples include the joint village and church community fund and more recently the expensive renovation of the fine church organ, to make sure that it remains in good voice for services every week and many many more special occasions and concerts. Speaking of concerts, our members were ‘in the thick of it’ helping with the grand ‘Five Churches Festival’ in July.
In the near future the ‘Friends’ plan to help provide funds to support the work of children visiting the church and kitchen improvements to support the very successful monthly community breakfasts and lunches, as well as much needed new flags to proudly fly from the church flagpole on important occasions.
The Friend’s dedication and generosity help keep Blakeney Church in the beautiful condition it stands in today.
